These two footstools belonged to my great-grandparents, and were re-upholstered about twenty years ago. But beyond that I don't know anything about them. Chippendale style? German/French/Russian versions? Claw and ball feet, attractive carving on the legs, very sturdy...grateful for any pointers anyone can give.
