its got either the sun or a flower on the side and on the bottom it says canada and the number 3.its hexagonal in shape.dont know much about it.i picked it up at a storage locker auction

I'm guessing that it's machine made (mold seam up to and over the lip). I'm also guessing that the seal is molded in the body rather than applied separately. The Canada 3 has me stumped, however, as glass houses would use their own names. I suspect that it is a decorative item of recent manufacture. However, your guess is as good as mine!
