STEVENS & WILLIAMS an english Victorian Era & Art Nouveau Art Glass producer- patented the MAT SO NU KE- PATTERN IN THE LATE 1880's.
With the invention by John Northwood, this applied glass technique was produced- today some of the most expensive ART GLASS pieces are MAT SO NU KE- the name is oriental (spirit of the pines).
First photo is of a Ruby Rose Bowl with this clear crystal applied glass-2nd photo is a S&W pink satin rose bowl with an unusual rim. Last photo is of 2 Stevens & Williams Peachblow- egg shaped mini rose bowl on the right is a Mat So Nu Ke patented piece with a crystal thorny base.
Mat So Nu Ke pieces were marked with- R 15353 (the registry mark).
It is nearly impossible today to find a piece that does not have pieces missing parts of the applied glass- any pieces that are in MINT CONDITION belong in a Museum.

Beautiful glass-- I have always loved the clear florets/ vines or branches and the way they stand out against the colorful base glass.

I believe the center large bowl is a base to a SW fairy lamp.
