    This Jay is from a store display probably from about 1972. The accessories were stapled to the figure. You can see the staples holding the vest and chaps belt in the third photo. In the second photo you can see the hole in his rear end where he was attached to Poncho Pony. In the last photo you can see the wholes in the ankles where his feet were screwed in Poncho Pony. It isn't always easy being a toy.

      I wonder if real cowboys had such a hole in a similar style to stop them falling of horses!
