I recently acquired a decent size group of old pin and badges. This piece is made of Brass and marked Solar Lieutenant of Guards and is 4 inches long. I'm trying to figure out if this is military or police or some other branch also trying to date this piece. If anyone has info on this please share.

I have the SOLAR 10 year service lapel pin. Still would like to know more about it. It is posted on eBay incase anyone wants to view it. I did find there used to be a Thailand based airline named SOLAR. Gone out of business (taken over by another carrier). They ran only three planes. Founded back in 2004.
