Approx. 3" tall, 2" wide and 1/2" thick.
This landed on the table at coffee this morning and I offered to do the research. I found one photo, but cannot find it again. Has anyone ever seen this lock before or have any further information? Would love to return to the coffee clatch more enlightened.

Hi, Is this actually a railroad lock? There was an H.H. RR Co., the Hetch Hetchy in CA, but it didn't come about until 1917, 55 years after your lock was made. Your lock says The HH Co. The lock I have seen for the Hetch Hetchy RR says HHRR

Here's another one with the year 1882:

Well, here is the issue... I'm depending on your input on this subject!! lol I'm not totally sure if it is Railroadiana as indicated by pajrr and OlofZ. Thank you for your responses though. If you find out more please pass it along to me. If you were needing to have this authenticated or valuated where would you turn? Lori
