Hello. I got this clock at a garage sale. It's a Seth Thomas clock. I don't really know to much about it. At the bottom of the clock it says "William Robinson, Albany Felt Company".I would love to find out more. Comments are welcome!

Hi, just was taking a peek at your find here and can identify it with just a little bit more information from you if your interested in it still. The marks under the discoloured part of the clocks movement will help immensely in giving you the correct detail. It does look like it is a Franz Hermle clock movement still in production today but without the details underneath I can't verify it for sure. The Hermle company commonly made movements for Seth Thomas Clocks.

Hello laniescott, thank you for commenting! New information is always welcome! You mentioned something about the marks under the discolored parts of the clock. Underneath the discolored parts was some writing. I took a picture of the writing and posted it above. It says "Made in Germany for Seth Thomas, A Talley Industries Co., Thomasion.Conn.U.S.A, A40-001, Two (2) Jewels, 8206, UNAD, and then something that I am unable to read. I hope you might be able to use this information to tell me more about the clock. Anything you could tell me would be greatly appreciated!
