Hi
I have a pipe which I would like to know the age and value. I have had conflicting info that it is sandblasted and that it isn't. Also that it is from the 30s and that it is from the 80s. Can anyone help on this. I know it is a Briar and has a Vulcanite mouthpiece. Any more advice would be greatly appreciated.
Measures: Approximate length 8 inches by width 2 inches at the widest. Handle measures approximately 6 inches.
Makers Mark: C for Comoy's, 800 series. Possibly the 804 Extraordinaire.
Has the C for Comoys on the side of the pipe ( Francois Comoy ).
Size: Believed to be the Magnum from the 800 series
Condition: In very good vintage condition with signs of wear in keeping with its age. Has some slight wear to the edge of the bowl. This can be restored, cleaned and polished.
