Please can someone help me identify this piece I purchased recently?
It is irridised (clearly visible on pictures), with a clearly defined fine cut "diamond like" pattern. In some ways it reminds of a Sowerby Pineapple.
It bears no manufacturer's marks.
The base glass is light amber, and the Marie is ground.
It is a huge, oval piece 52 cm (L) x 26 cm (w) x 25 cm (h) and looks like a fruit bowl or centerpiece.
I have browsed many sites but cannot find it... any help, please e- mail me.

SOLVED.... Thanks to Facebook!
Carnival Glass from Europe replied:
Magnificent! You have a large jardiniere made by Josef Inwald of Czechoslovakia in the pattern known to collectors as "Diamond Cut". This massive large size is known, but is very rare. The base of your piece almost certainly has a shiny mirror ground finish, typical of Inwald's Carnival.
Soooo.... I have searched EVERYWHERE and cannot find any info on this piece... does anyone have one, know of one... know of the sale of one? I am keen to know something about its collectability and value... ANY help will be appreciated.
