I got these at goodwill yesterday too. Jacknife Betty is pretty well worn out, but you can still see traces of color in her. when do you think it was made? it's kind of neat.

Check the blade tangs for makers mark
thank you kyratango and aghcollect! i did check the tank and it says something like Flost or Flose and Germany on the risque one. The other one has a very nice blade w/ a little bottle opener at the base and says 'Imperial Prov. US. R.I.A.'
actually it says Imperial U.S.A., Prov. R.I. in Providence, RI!
Here is the Imperial marks - I think yours is mark used 1956-1988, but the knife itself is probably 1956 to circa 1970 based on the pin-up

So the plain one was made sometime between 1956 and 1988. Thank you aghcollect!!
There is a "Frost" Germany pocket knife brand and sorry, I mixed up the "risque" one in comment 6 - thought the Imperial was the pin-up
