The Ann Page tin sports a zip code, but no barcode, so I'm assuming that it's from no later than the mid 60s. "Ann Page" was the name of the A&P's storebrand products. The A&P chain was defunct for awhile, but about a decade ago was reborn as "SuperSaver".
"Ideal" was the Acme Markets storebrands' name. This one has neither a zip code nor barcode on it. With these absences, I'm having a hard dating this item.
Similar to the A&P's plight, Acme Markets closed up shop for a while, but a new, smaller chain of Acmes has been resurrected.
Love the look of these old tins! :)
these are great !!! I have some vintage tin ones from Marshall Fields for tea.
Thank you Katherine…I agree, the design and graphics of such tins is great! And, thank you for the love, too!
