Clearing my Mums house we found these pieces. Fun and sparkle - love the colour. They look like an oriental origin and we are trying to establish if this sort of jewelry is popular in overseas cultures. They were too dazzling for my Mum. I think they date back to the 1950's. Any one recognise the design please let me know. Living in hope ! Thanks

Good heavens. Julonmain - are you a jeweller? To my mind your post is so very wrong in all the senses of the word. This is a demi parue of what looks like quite fine, and old, jewellery. The only parts of the set that's missing is a brooch, and a ring.
I hope the last post hasn't driven the original poster away.
I would take these pieces (with the box) to a professional appraiser. He/She could find any makers marks (if you can't), and hopefully tell you what you have. I'm not disputing that they could be Sherman, But I'm looking right now at a Sherman bracelet (which uses her favourite colour Siam Red) on offer for $525.00. I'm quite open to criticism, and being proved wrong.
