thanks for the Loves, Ivonne, Kevin, Karen and MacArt :)
Lovely pair of W... vases oops lol.
Ooh I love the pinks too!!
no Rick......c'mon...don't even go there...anyway these were made probably late 1800, I doubt that the Wedgwood Factory were making glass through Waterford at this point in pink!
Excellent grouping!
Thank you Tom, yes the Honeycombs I bought in Europe, again meeting my Europe/British theories that I have. There is an amazing amount of this decor and the Stripes in Europe. So many of the pinks I have bought have been Europe sold first and if in Us then picked up by US buyers on eBay or some such...probably 90 per cent of the 80 odd stripes, honey combs and other styles like the Adventurine I think it's called, have all been from Europe mainly British....
You will note how well it goes with some of the ones I sourced from you in the background....this is an old photo though, with not many listed...
And thank you to everyone who "loved" my items. I know they are a bit blurred like a Doris Aday movie but this is because I took the photo quickly through a locked cabinet....I'm currently packing up so many of my vases in an attempt to declutter. Well my husband is packing up, I'm merely the supervisor! I hope I manage to find a suitable property when we sell, that will allow me to display every thing I have. I'm think like loads of us in here I may need to dedicate a bedroom or two to the presentation and display of my items... :)
