Circa 1905 Rindskopf vase decorated in their pulled feather decor. Standing 11 1/2" tall, this is the big brother to the green one I posted earlier... http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/153928-rindskopf-pulled-feather-art-glass-vase - It's made of silky smooth, azure blue glass with various shades of blue and white feathers. It has a fire polished rim and is a very nice example of the decor.
Beautiful colours and perfect shape !I haven't seen Rindskopf in this colour yet. It's eye catching!
Oh Rick, this is a beauty. I have only seen one other Rindskopf in this color - it is an unusual shade of blue for them. It is one of my favorites!!
beautiful blue!!!!!
Thanks so much for the love and comments Ivonne and Michelle, and thanks for the love Florida, Mike, Ian, Agh, Craig and Tony, it's always appreciated.
@Ivonne and Michelle... I originally bought this, as well as the green one, with the intention of selling them. After listing them for a short while, I grew to love them and couldn't part with them.
It is just GLORIOUS !!!!!
Thanks for the love and comment Vetraio they're very much appreciated. Also thanks for the love Sean and Glassie.
Blue glass is always good but this is so much more wonderful than that!
Blue is my favorite especially cobalt. This is a wonderful piece. Thanks for sharing.
Lovely photos, Rick, you've captured its sheen and silky smoothness perfectly.
Nice one Rick.
Exceptionally beautiful!
like a summer sky wonderful
Thank you for the love and positive comments Karen, Peggy, Mac, Smiata, EAPG and Silvia, and thanks for the love Fixit, Blunder, Katherine, and Fishiowa, it's all very much appreciated.
@Peggy... Thanks for the photo comment Peggy... The smoothness of the glass and sheen is even more so in person. Unfortunately, my camera is not of the quality necessary to capture that little extra detail in the glass. Maybe some day.....
Great color on this one!!
Thanks Craig... I like it so much better than the green one.
I agree. I think the blue ground takes the décor to a whole different level.
Just beautiful!...:-)
Thanks so much for the comment Inky, and thanks for the love Lee and Rustfarm.
