Hello!
I had a Hickory Chair Mahogany table in my work shed, waiting in me to do something with it. I tried to work in it, & stain & poly it, but I didn't like it.
This is a nice table, but I had to glue here & there. I believe I remember buying it at Auction in the town I live in.
So I decided to try my second chalk paint project. I had already bought the Teal & Grey paint for something else, so that is what colors I chose for this.
I am too cheap to buy the expensive chalk name brand chalk paint, I made mine with Calcium Carbonate.
After mixing, painting & waxing (a lot!) this is what came forth.
I was going to put it in my Antique Booth, but I like it. A lot!
The little lamp , I bought a pair of them at Estate sale. The green chair was a strip & stain project I did a few years ago.
Hope you like as much as I do!!!
Thanks. I love this group.

I was never an admirer of painting over real wood, but that is one fine job. It really looks good.
