I saw this and HAD to have it! Bought it today at an antique market. I paid 7,00 Euro - $7.88. Handmade. No damage anywhere. It is about 4 1/2" high and about 14" in diameter. The maker looks to be "FAENRA DI PERLO" but nothing comes up in Google. A photo search also turned up nothing. There is no lip on it for pouring and I am not totally sure it's a vase. I have never seen a pot like this and am curious to hear what others think of it.
The last pot is made by Gouda, Holland is pictured for comparison.

Hi jensen - thank you for clearing that up. I am a jewelry person, so pottery/ceramics is a bit of a weak point with me. Do you have some idea of what this sort of pot is for? Or is it just decorative? Thanks again.
So, "Faënza di Perlo" is the stamp. There is almost no information available about this sort of pottery. I am searching for a website where I can send the photo of my pot but have turned up a big, fat zero so far. :-(
Well I've taken a bit of a look around and only found one pot with a sort of similar handle but that listing didn't offer any information, and the pot had a spout, which yours doesn't. Handles like this strike me as hooks moreso, ...

katherinescollections - thanks!!! Interesting how similar the two pots are. Hmmm, Lotus petals....does the top of my pot resemble a lotus blossom? I think it looks more like a Pomegranate. I walked past the stall and my eyes stuck to that pot, lol~! The dealer was giving me all sorts of reasons why this pot is French (noooooo). It came out of a little old lady's house ( of course). There were other ceramics on the table but none as interesting as this one.
The form and decor are a copy of Dutch Gouda. The turquoise interior too. Copies of Gouda faience were done in Italy and in Japan. Perhaps the people at the Gouda site might know some more:

vetraio50, thanks for the info. I live in Holland and am very familiar with Gouda. I have a gorgeous round vase with a similar design to the pot pictured here, but the quality of the Gouda vase is much higher.
