Beautiful Free-form Art Glass

I got this beautiful free-form art glass "vase" at an estate sale about a month ago. There are no signatures or makers' marks. I have done a lot of searching on the web. I believe this vase is very similar to those made by Robert C. Fritz. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_C._Fritz There is a glass prong inside the vase which connects one side to another. My understanding is that this "prong" is a difficult process. I am thinking it is Robert C. Fritz art glass piece, but, I have no idea whether Robert Fritz signed all his pieces. And, how common is the inner glass prong? Can you help me identify this beautiful piece? Thanks!
