Early 20th Century Japanese Lamp with figurines and crystals

This lamp was acquired in a NYC estate sale 20 years ago. It is 36 inches high. The figurines (four occidental women) are about 9 inches high in a porcelain or porcelain-like substance. There are 24 crystal sets -- a two inch crystal hanging under a much smaller round crystal. I was told by the owner of a lamp store that the lamp was made in Japan around 1900, but have no way of verifying it. Please contact me at drrichardcole@gmail.com with any information. Thanks.
