A recent find online, this 1950's truck is by Marusan I believe .
A creative individual at some point added the stickers, which I'm trying to decide how to remove . Any suggestions would be appreciated!!
I was thinking of trying GooGone?
This truck measures about 6", and should have some cases of coke onboard, but alas!!
    Another addition to the addiction!!
    Cheers!!

Awwe but the stickers are fun! kids. :) It looks lke a delicate process. Find a test spot and see if this type of paint is affected by rubbing alcohol. That's what I use to remove most of my stickers off of glass.

Try warming them up with a hair dryer first, googone may take the paint as well.

Nice truck. Some heat might help the sticker come up. Don't worry about the residue left behind. I use a citrus based adhesive remover made by ZEP called Big Orange. Works great on metal, but not on plastic, don't ask how I found that out.lol. of coarse you would want to test on a underside part, but have had no issues on many of the sticker laden toys i find. I think just juice from an orange has enough citrus power to break down adhesive too. Big Orange is used for automotive decal removal., eg; advert wraps on tour busses. A little bit goes along way. All my toy purchases get a full detail when I get them. Be careful because it is on the hood and I am not sure of Japan paint quality, but have used it on SSS trucks with litho, and have had super results and no litho loss, but i don't over-rub. Scary to remove decals for sure and sometimes best to just live with it.

The decal on the back looks real scary. if litho underneath probably be ok, if decal, I think I would just suffer and live with it. Decals look to have some age, so they will be a challenge.

Thanks, I have left them on for now until I figure out a fool proof way of removal!!
