I am 36. my mom got this for me when I was quite young she has no recollection of where she got it from and Google cant give me any information on it. it is a fiber optical Winged Angel music box and that's what all I know about it
I don't know that it will help but a picture of the back and the base might provide some clues.
From my own experience/knowledge -- I know the Fiber Optic craze was around the 1980's era, as my Mom ( + RIP + ) had those Fiber optical Flowers in the Music box enclosed. Here is something similar to what she had:

So if your 36, the age of these types of items are about right. Yes, any marks or impressed marks on the back, side, or bottom.
