Silver cigarette case with matching vesta

Found this matching set while going through some of my father's things. The only markings I see on the cigarette case is on the inside edge. The word sterling silver with what looks like a diamond after it. Also the number 30. The vesta has markings along the inside edge as we'll. Very hard to make out. On 1 side appears to be the number 23 and then a 0. The other side has 2 different boxes with symbols which I can't make out. Any information on these would be great!
