Again just looking for some knowledge. I don't know anything about it other than it is old.
It was my grandfather's which makes it at least 50 to 60 years old or so ive been lead to believe. he was in the Canadian military and after that he was a commissionre until he retired. I do believe it was given to him by somebody he watched over. Although i could have that wrong. When you google the watchmaker's name nothing much comes up accept newer items. I've seen the watch on a few sites that have been sold but it doesn't show the amount or give much info on the watch itself. I'm not looking for an appraisal I'm just looking for somebody who can tell me more about the watch.
I not 100% sure, but upon study of basic design and packaging, I'm pretty sure not all that old...without holding this in hand, very hard to say, but again first instinct, tells me probably a battery powered quartz style watch, could you add a photo of back cover and describe any writing on it. I have a pretty good eye for vintage versus newer pieces, not bragging, but simply stating what I've learn, my educated opinion would be 1990's or newer.
