Scottish themed Thistle sword and Sporon Head brooch, silver metal with Emerald glass stone most likely...
Second shot of back is a bit blurred but you can see the clasp well enough.
A lovely decorative and fun piece. I would have preferred this in my tartan skirts when I went to the Trooping of the colour, rather than the large pin as standard...!!

I had one just like this as a kid Anne to pin my kilt for Highland dancing....still love them!
Karen how fabulous...I loved my kilt although it was stupid to have to wear socks and shoes without stockings or tights...but there you go...and the wool was a bit prickly...lol....glad I have brought back your childhood memories...I love the green with silver...
Lovely. I too had a (itchy) kilt as a girl, lol, I guess they were fashionable at the time. Never had a nice pin like this to go with it though:(
