I was rummaging in my jewelry cabinet earlier, and I stumbled upon this demi parure from Trifari. Inhave had this set for ages, but never wear it, so I decided to sell it together with some overburden.
But upon closer inspection, I cant part with it. Its a nice quality set, its in excellent condition and its design is pretty.
Maybe one of my daughters will wear it someday.
I think its from the sixties, but maybe there are some Trifari experts inhere who can tell me more about it? Here in Europe you dont see many Trifari jewelry
Hard to tell from the photos, but on the necklace clasp, Trifari in straight up and down letters, with crown and copyright, 50s; also clasp and clips look that era. Crown was removed in the seventies and they used a different font.
Or I should say, more properly, 50s to 70s. There are Trifari folk on here who may have a different opinion.
Karherinescollection and nutsabothas, thanks for the comments! And thanks kyratango, aghcollect and freiheit for the love
Thank you both for your nice comments, happy to help out. :)
Trifari makes gorgeous jewelry! Would love to find a set like this one. I was lucky enough to find a large Trifari brooch at a flea market for 2 Euro. I have a photo posted here. I have it up on a local internet site for sale, but I may take the ad down and hoard it for myself...!
