hi, I have a Emerson Radio & television radio.
manufactured at Newark, N.J. by home radio receiver division of Federal Telephone & Radio. the radio is very old and in excellent condition. it is missing 3 glass valves and the back piece. everything else is good. it is clearly a very old radio, telling by the look of the electronics and the components. it is a AM radio only searching from channel range 55 to 160. the information I have provided I have obtained from the radio its self. the Emerson logo is on the front and the other information is on a sticker on the back. I am having trouble finding anything about this radio or the company that made it. if you could shed any light or provide any further information I would be very grateful.

Cool radio, looks like bakelite. Nice dog too.

Try looking up Emerson or Federal but not both. ie vintage emerson portable radio. They made many variations so anything close should give you an idea of the age.

Really sweet! Here's an ad for Federal on page 45, the IT&T logo is the same in 1943. Hope you can find the missing parts!
