That is quite the collection. Very impressive.
Beautifully displayed too.
Wow, wow, a serious collector! And agree with Racer, fantastic display too :-)
A true collector !! Beautifully done :-)
Oh very nice!
TallCakes, look at these display shelves! :)
Beautiful work, I thought it was a professional store display.
nice collection : ) and very interesting photo! How about arranging the colors and mixing them to create a geometric stained glass motif???
The picture is actually of a wall that is shelved all the way across! I could not get all the glass in one picture so I had to take a panoramic view picture! It makes the wall look like it has a bend in it! I was torn with how to display the glass. Do it by colors or by pieces and have the colors mixed! I may do that at some point but for now it will have to do!
CoinGlassFan, you won't mind if I say The dust, the dust!! Seriously it is so beautiful, but oh my Lord you must spend a lot of time dusting, lol. :)
Wow...very nice.
I once had many of my cake stand intermixed with colors, but now they are segregated; maybe next cleaning they'll get mixed again. I knew there was something going on with the image; it turned out nice : )
this is why wood is so much easier to display, its harder to see the dust...lol...very interesting collection and display. It looks like pharmacy wall display slats that you slot in the shelves..very good use of a commercial display system ...
I actually display by colour and graduate forward and back. I do this with my small Tango as can fir it in a bookcase unit. But the bigger vases and anything but Tango are all over the place in cabinets, tables, coffee tables, just everywhere. Until I sell the houe I'm not addressing this issue. Had been hoping for a big Welsh Dresser but who knows until the new place is identified...Sorry I babble on...
hey CoinGlassFan, ever seen any purple Coin glass?
Yes. I own a few pieces! It is faked! It has been irradiated but it is beautiful. I love the color but I bought them knowing they were not real! When irradiated the manganese in the glass turns purple. It is usually done by someone with access to a chicken farm where they irradiate the eggs in mass to kill bacteria!
I knew that it was UV irradiated for the color; there's lots of EAPG damaged that way years ago. It's sad to see folks paying top dollar for what is essentially sick glass.
