This cute little basket is stitched with green and red thread. It's base appears to be tree bark. It's less than three inches tall and about five inches wide. It has small handles. I don't know its origins, but we've had it for over thirty years.

This basket was made by a member of the Seminole Native American tribe, and is probably from Florida. The colors used to stitch the grasses together are the colors used by the Seminole, as well as the bark bottom.
