Over time, I encountered a lot of antique jewelery including of course China's jewelry. There are many beautiful items and personally I also have a few. But this necklace has to be the nicest I've got so far in my possession.
This necklace is 76 cm. long pendant 5 x 2.5. cm and the big long filigree "beads" are 3.2 x 1 cm.
The enamel colors are green, cobalt, purple and turquoise all put on the beads also on the round beads in gold over (marked, see photo) silver called Vermeil.
The enameled decorations on the beads are all based on the bamboo plant. Is there anyone who can tell me more about this beautiful necklace please tell us what count here!

Agram, you have the best jewelry!
Some facts I have gleaned about jewelry from China is you will find either pre-1940 (because of the war) or post 1970's when China started exporting jewelry again.
Your necklace appears to be a sautoir which were very popular circa 1920. Lovely!
