I have been attempting to research my family history for a while now with barely any luck. We happened to come across a bottle a few years ago that was from my great grandfather's liquor store . The collector was reluctant to sell it to us but since it carries my family history, he generously gave in. If anyone might have information on this bottle or Soloman M. Raives in New York during the early 1900's and would be willing to share, please contact me. We have heard many rumors about him and would love to know some history on my family!

(he is also noted as one of the three company directors)
This information was listed in the;
"1914 R.L. Polk & Co. Trow New York Copartnership & Corporation Directory of the Boroughs of Manhattan & The Bronx"

I found "Raives Liquor Company" listed in the 1913-1914 Brooklyn & Queens NY Business Directory but there is no address given
There is also 1910 census information on your great grandfather, his wife, and their daughter and his naturalization information if you want the links to those. I didn't want to put them here unless you request them.
