    (1 item)

    This wooden item was donated by a former farmer and collector who passed away before we could obtain description and use.

    We think it is used for fabricating horse harnesses. The block on the end rotates and the rod moves in the slot.

    Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

      Saddlers clam (no, not clamp) - the rotating block may have been so it could be mounted in the stitchers stool so he/she could turn it while working;
