I inherited this Bachman chest in 1999. It came to me by the way of the Jay Bachman farm in Strasburg, Pa. I do not know which Bachman fashioned this. Possibly Jacob. The dimensions are WIDTH 40”
DEPTH 21” HEIGHT 62" A similar privately owned chest is described as a museum piece by Ann Kilborn Cole in the Philadelphia Inquirer on February 20, 1955. One of the unique features of this piece is that it has castors, possibly wooden. The key works perfectly in each lock. I would be pleased to know more about it. The added key/lock photo shows in the locked position.
Thank you.
