This reminds me of either a nuclear explosion or a super nova. I saw it in the thrift shop and couldn't pass it up. It's just massive! I was wondering when and by who this was made.

Its most likely a paperweight by Cathiness glass in Scotland and the pattern is Tango cranberry from memory but I'll have to look up mine...otherwise there were some similar ones done but I stand corrected if a greater authority comes over the top of my idea.... did Fenton do them? In the US you are more likely to have these type of things locally made and bought but I could be wrong again...
Theres some research...but one thing I used to do when I first started researching items I had no idea on. Id go to google or ebay and search words I knew thus far. ie a good search for this would be
"glass paperweight red or pink or orange" (your flash has artificially changed the colour id say) then to cull that try "splash, vintage, retro, antique" depending on what you think...just a bit of search tipping...
Good luck -Anne
Nope. It's exactly those colors. :) It's really intense.
well I tried to help, hope it did...
As best as anyone could without having the actual answer. It looks a lot like a Cathines paperweight but unfortunately it's not marked. Le Sigh.
But its still stunning!!
