We have known about this sign sitting out behind a friends moms house for many moons but purchasing the sign was a taboo subject. Finally I suggested that the sign was just rusting away where it was sitting and no one could possibly ever even see it & why wait till the Mom died when they could just donate it to the Free Musuem at aaaLakeside Storage and literally thousands of people would drive right past it every week end and we would put a nice credit Plaque showing who had donated it to give recognition to the family. Fortunately for us the idea was appealing to all the parties involved so we ran up the 5 hr drive to Idaho and got this cool American sign. We just happened to have found this nice pole that it lacks while on the way. That's another story for another day, but I will make mention that the old Farmer/Rancher/mechanic that sold it to us had his teen aged daughter dressed by the Dukes of Hazzard for a TV series, or at least it appeared that way to us. Short shorts, immodest top, big Henna tattoo on the right thigh and boots. We'll save that story for another posting. She was young, tough and strong & hefted that sign up out of the dried dirt without a comment! The Fun is in the Hunt!
