Hello, I recently purchased this crystal decanter. It has no identifying makers marks that I can see. It is a barrel sort of shape with the stopper containing a trapped air bubble. I hope the pictures do help in the identification as I know nothing about this otherwise. I have an interest in who is the maker and an idea of age would be nice, thanks in advance.

This is copying the shape of Georgian Spirit bottles in the period 1810-30.

You can see some in my previous posts:
      http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/87396-georgian-barrel-shaped-spirit-bottles
      http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/82073-triple-decanter-stand

The cutting is not authentic to the period and the stopper peg is too well made, so this is not a fake but a copy. Having a pouring lip like this was also reasonably common for spirit bottles of the period.

Georgian glass was copied in the period 1900-1940. The copies closer to 1900 tended to be more slavish to the original but by they 1930s they became more of a pastiche of the original. With this in mind I would say this is from the 1930s.
You can read more about such copies on my website:
