I recently acquired a small collection of Steiff bears. This particular Bear didn't have an ear button. It looks like there was one on his left ear, but has been removed. I would like to know the year of this bear. His feet aren't the normal Steiff feet as I know them. He is fairly old I think. His stuffing is crackly sounding and kind of hard. He has three embrodered claws on paws and feet. I haven't been able to find one like him online. Could you please help me? Thanks, Kim

Hi my name is Susan, I have just found this web page and I to collect bears. I have just bought a bear identical to yours and wonder if you found out about him?
All I know is that he was made in the 1930s. I would really welcome any info you may have. Thank you

I believe the bear to be a Hermann teddy bear of the 1930's.
