Trying to find out more about this semi-circular wooden chair with spindle arms that form into legs and has a slat back. The chair is made of a very solid, heavy weight wood. It is put together with no screws or nails and it's in various pieces. I got the piece as a hand-me-down and get tons of compliments on it and its uniqueness but have no clue how to respond. Would love to tell a good story but I'm clueless! Any feedback or responses would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I think this shape is generally called a captain's chair, but I don't know anything about your particular design. Good luck!
