This is not really a collectible, but the image reflects the Art Deco movement, thus, I hope that these are acceptable.
Such sidewalk mosaics added a touch of class to old time stores, and this one for Reeves' store of Luzerne, PA is no exception. Reeves' has been replaced with another establishment, but the sidewalk remains, thankfully.
Hi, aghcollect….thanks for the love!
Thank you, v-50…I appreciate the love!
I love Déco, TED !! I'm wondering how Luzerne is pronounced in the U.S.?
That's good to hear, vetraio! I have a great love for Deco, also. Sometime soon, I'll post some images of The Luzerne Bank, which is an Art Deco treasure.
Luzerne here is pronounced: lose urn (one word). How about its pronunciation in Australia?
Hi, Rustfarm….thanks for the love!
Good evening, Dave… I appreciate the love!
Hello, Katherine….thanks for the love!
Old downtown stores are great.
You are exactly right, fortapache! I make every effort to patronize these stores, myself!
