Peters and Reed Pottery Vases

I found these beautiful vases at separate estate sales. I am very certain that the first one you see, the one that I think is more beautiful, is a Peters and Reed pottery vase. I got it at an estate sale of an individual who was a serious collector.

I got the second vase at an estate sale about a year later. The sellers did not seem to know anything about who made it except that it looked old. I immediately thought "Peters and Reed" when I saw it and I have since found a vase for sale online by an antique dealer that looks exactly like this claiming to be a Peters and Reed. It looks like a pickled cucumber to me. But, I still love it!
