This key was found in central Pa beside a house built in 1805 but there have also been some colonial period coins and buttons found on this farm. It measures 6" long and I assume it is brass since it has acquired a lovely green patina. I'd appreciate any info about it, especially as to its probable age. Perhaps the neatest find for me ever. Thanks for your help.
