When going for a drive in the country was an adventure. Does anyone know what make / model / year this Automobile is? I'm guessing about late teens.

Ford Model T. Earlier than later, it seems, but your man in front is blocking the information. I like it!
I believe its a 1910-14 Packard, notice the large wheel bearing covers and the little point tear drop on front fender. Model T Ford had smaller bearing covers.
Yep, I can't say about Packard (I don't know them), but you're right, I was mistaken-- not a T!
Love the chains on the back wheels! Imagine having to put those on just for a little springtime spin in the country!
Bootson: Never had a car of this model but had a 1937 Plymouth and you get good at changing tires.
