Fantastic Peg Tootelian pottery vases found at an estate sale. I don't know much about Peg Tootelian except that she was a noted mid-century studio art pottery ceramicist. I really love the style and form of these vases. I also love the fact that I can read her name. ;)
Of course, even though these are not mystery pieces, any information on them and Peg Tootelian is appreciated. Thanks!
Beautiful!!!
Thanks, SEAN68! Do you know anything about Peg Tootelian?

Merci bien, Alan2310! Vous savez que je parle un peut de français? :)
Bien a vous aussi. Désolé que je ne sais pas comment faire les accents avec le clavier, sauf avec l'autocorrect.

I was one of her students in 1970. She had a studio in or at her home. I loved handbuilding and some throwing on the wheel. Her work was and is lovely. I then taught children in my apartment and bought a kiln. I am now retired and go to a local potter's studio in Hagerstown, MD. I still love to create pottery!
