    Got this gal from a local charity shop today for a couple of bucks.

    Anybody recognize her?

    Underneath her dress are two more petticoats and then a layer of crinoline. Her shoes are white heels, painted onto the bisque. She is quite large, nearly 2 feet high. No name to be found anywhere - not on her and not on her clothing. She has wire in her body. Glass eyes. She came with a stand, but there is no information on it. I did some photo searches and came up empty.

      Did you look at back of her neck for markings ? So many doll artists did these types of dolls in 80's and 90's . First name when I saw her that came to mind was "Rusty" but she usually made taller dolls 40 plus inches . Pretty display doll .

      oops I mean "Rusti"

      @Manikin - yes, that's the first place I looked.
      I've collected dolls for quite a few years. Mainly vintage Barbie, Sindy, Estrella and 60s clones. I checked all her petticoats, under her hair, on her back and any place else I though there might be some info. Nada.

      What a pretty doll, more nicely done than most contemporary dolls. Good buy for two dollars, efesgirl! :)

      katherinescollections - thanks! I need to do a bit of minor maintenance on her and then I will put her up for sale locally.
