Just found this pedal car and the closest picture I can find is "1940 Pontiac Station Wagon Pedal Car" but everyone I found is red. There are no markings I can find. Can anyone help identify it?

That looks like original paint...what a treat. Most I've seen have been red as well, if someone painted it over, they did a good job!
What a great find. It is a Steelcraft 41 Pontiac.
The original sales sheet for the wagon says this:
The body is maroon enamel with ivory trim. The box is hazelwood brown and has ivery wheels. The hand rails and bumper is silver.
Should have a front bumper.
Many of these were repainted in the fifties and sixties some very well done. Remember there were several repair garages and body shops in every small town.
Thank you!
i have one listed just like it but the white pieces are chrome and was restored by someone not sure when but mine isnt the woody doe to woodys having the chrome white if im not mistaken....heres a link to it
