Ganesh

That is one name for it I have taken some other photo's now they both have been cleaned just have loaded them on the laptop yet so when I do I will put some more down. I'm not sure what metal they are made of but the silver has been nearly removed from the handling over the years. This is one of the many Hindu Gods with it's trunk sitting to the left it is for the removal of Obstacles of both spiritual & material objects. He is the lord of good fortune & success he also places obstacles in the path of those that need to be checked. It seems to work for me good things have been coming my way. If the trunk is in the right hand then it is very spiritual for those believers. I do not have a religion that I follow but this captured my eye & my heart on sight even before I realised what it stood for I feel as if I have been blessed by having these items in my care. There isn't any markings on either one. I have taken a photo of the base but they are not on the laptop as yet. I'm wondering if they were made when Silver were not putting marks on there wares at that time. There is a lot more on these articles but I do not at this stage have the time to put it all down so this is the short version. They do throw back to a gold colour but they also have that silver look were not worn. Just did some slight modifications with the photo's the last 2 are recent additions. The base picture had nothing written on it but is worn smooth. Would anyone have any idea of the age please.
