The round one I've had for years but the second was listed on ebay recently looking as if it had been in a garden shed for ten years. The seller said it would clean up and it did! I've posted the two together for comparison. You can see that the décor subtly changes on different shapes.
In picture 4 you can see that the iridescence on the second one is much stronger than on the first. Both shine, gold, pink and blue and both are very glossy.
Better later than never !Now we can enjoy it !
Thank you, Ivonne, much appreciated :-)
Lovely both of them Peggy but for me your newer one is loveliest. I really like it's shape, the ratio of mount to glass, and wow, that sheen!
Lovely!
Thanks Karen, the newer one is also a less common shape and I guess all collectors like that!
Thank you, katherinescollections, being photographed away from the rest always improves my glass:-)
Thanks for the loves, Ivonne, welzebub, surfdub, aghcollect, mikelv, IanBrighton, Moonstonelover, Michelle, vetraio, katherinescollections, racer, freiheit and inky.
What a lovely pair Peggy! Some day I'd love to see your display of all these beautiful bowls. I bet they look fantastic together!
Thank you so much, Rick, perhaps when the summer, and the gardening, is over :-)
Sounds good Peggy, I'm gonna hold you to it...
Ooh Peggy, I have one of these without a collar. Thank you for posting, I now know who made it :)
I've been meaning to post it. It's a different shape to yours here but in other respects its identical.
Thanks Fran, I look forward to seeing your shape.
