I'm told by those who know a lot more than I know that is old pump is a Tokheim 800 Commercial. I have seen a few pix of the Tok 800s and they all have round bodies which is different than ours. We bought this pump from a guy up in Cour deLane Idaho & I didn't get any history on it. Since it reads in Liters I assume it was a Canadian pump originally. It is in the process of getting a face lift and new hands so it should spruce up pretty nicely for the display at Lakeside Storage, but even with the thousands of people who have seen it, we've never heard a comment or question about it. Amazing to me as I have lots of questions about it? Old Age again?
They are too busy staring at their smart phones etc.. I used to think that the nuclear age was opening Pandora"s Box, but re-evaluating my opinion with the digital thing. LOL! Nobody looks eye to eye anymore.
Exactly! I take my wife out to dinner or lunch and see the places filled with people all texting someone else? What is that about? Kids can't communicate with real words and can't spell the ones they use so they just abbreviate etc. I could go on but will restrain myself.
