This was a piece I have been working on for the past few months. The seller at the local antique fair kept saying it was a Webb vase. I tried telling him that it was not a Webb. This piece is acid stamped with the Webb hallmark. The sides are pinched and glows under black light. I thought that this was an interesting find. The enameling is almost all intact and in great condition. Thanks for looking

Interesting indeed! Is that an enamel Webb & Sons stamp or is it acid etched? I wonder when it went on?
Kevin, it's acid stamped. Strange indeed.
Really a strange piece, old more than the acid stamped mark. The enamel of high quality.
naw not strange. fake acid marks are a dime a dozen for both webb and Stevens and williams.
