Got this at auction about two years ago. My guess is that the image is of Diana, Goddess of the Hunt. As the title says, it's 11" tall, acid cut, and two color. The field itself is a frosted texture, much like a "chipped ice" lamp shade. The image is smooth, with good detail and no blurring. The base and rim are banded and facet cut.
I can't ID the maker. I have two reliable opinions, one from a UK dealer, and one from the gent who eduts the Early Glass Auction catalogs, but I'll hold those back so I don;t bias amy SWAGs (Scientific Wild-Assed Guesses) (both are in agreement, BTW). I can't find any marks at all.
I'm eager to read your thoughts. Peace, Scott (Silicon_Arts)

My first thought was - Kralik - judging by cut base ,colour and the shape.
But I'm afraid not an expert ,just share my thoughts.
      The vase is beautiful !

TY, guys. It's one of my faves. I need to sell it, though (Healthcare Marketplace screwup) Ruby Lane was mean to me, and y'all know PayBay... folks gripe in the Sellers Forum if they don't get top $, and then gripe in the Buyers Forum if they don't get stuff for free.
I have a pair of Mosers that I'll post that most, I'd wager, would never guess they were, in fact, Moser vases.

Nice and interesting piece, that I would wager is most likely Kralik.

eBay has turned into a flea market. It's cheaper then using an auction house, but some of them are getting top dollar for glass vs the flea market mentality of many of the eBay buyers.

Greetings, Project_Harrach. I couldn't agree more with your assessment of eBay. It's a flea market with cheap Chinese commodity goods, counterfeits, and closet cleanout "collectibles". I follow, and occasionally bid/buy from, several auction houses that either have specialty auctions periodically (James Julia, Woody, Early) or who often have some decent glass pieces. The money's out there, and, as you say, top dollar is being paid. I think many of the low-ballers on eBay are other eBayers looking to pick up inventory on the cheap. And they find it. Then new sellers check the sold listings, and underprice their pieces relative to the non-eBay auction value. Downward spiral. I'd enjoy talking about the situation more. Pity there isn't a forum for auction talk in general.

Meanwhile, the two educated guesses I got about the piece named Val St. Lambert.

I'm posting here Scott as it seems only right to comment on your post:
What's throwing me is the fine detailing above and below the panel cuts - that ovate patterning, you don't see that on Kralik pieces, at least in the paper docs.
Have you looked at this http://www.loetz.com/featured-articles/a-study-of-loetz-cut-glass-production image 6.06 shows the kralik glass cut patterns that are known. It might help. Also you might want to contact Kai directly through Loetz.com, I'm sure he would be happy to help.
