I found this beauty on the curbside! No cracks, scratches, etc. It's a very heavy piece. It measures 29" T x 19" W x 17" high to the seat x arms are 25" W x legs from front-back are 18.5" x 17.5" on the seat front-back x 19.75" for the width of the front legs and 17.75" for the width of the back legs. It's stamped "Ethan Allen American Traditional" under the seat along with the numbers 12 6001 906721. Can anybody tell me what kind of wood this is and the approximate age? I'm curious if it's worth anything.
Thank you!
Ethan Allen has their archives online. You can research it there with the numbers you have.
"Second hand" furniture has limited value verse "antique" furniture.

Thank you.
Thank you, fhrjr2, for that info. I'll have to go look it up now. I could only find ones that swiveled. Any info I did find never told me what year they were produced. Thanks again!
