Started refurbishing antique Singer Treadle machines a couple years ago.
This National E Portable Machine Model # 3029830 was almost given to me. It is missing the foot peddle and wiring but the motor seems intact.
It is a Vibrating Shuttle model and one of the chrome cover plates is missing.
Still trying to get a manufacture date.

This is the little Expert BT - serial number will be under the front slide cover. Anne Kusilek known as Damascus Annie has some National data which she has collected for many years. You may be able to find her on social media.

      Bernadette,
      Thank you for the info.
I have located the serial number, but I had no idea what to do with it. Unlike Singer, there are no data bases available.
